About the Artist…… Susan Barry
A native Californian and forty-plus year resident of Nevada City, Susan paints and teaches throughout the state, in schools, for art organizations, the Sierra Club and Elderhostel. Her watercolor paintings reflect her love for the out-of-doors. Many are centered on the beauty of the Sierras and the rugged coastline of California. Field journaling all her travels give her the basics for creating many of her large wet-into-wet paintings of the Sierra. Most of all she enjoys sharing her art with others.
